I’m Farida, a newborn photographer serving Toronto, Mississauga, and the surrounding GTA. With over 12 years of experience photographing newborns and growing families, I specialize in creating timeless, beautifully styled portraits that preserve the earliest days of your baby’s life.
Those first few weeks are filled with fleeting moments — tiny fingers, delicate features, and the incredible connection between you and your newest family member. My goal is to preserve these precious details through elegant, heartfelt imagery that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
Your newborn photography experience is thoughtfully designed with your baby’s safety and comfort at the heart of every session. From gentle, baby-led posing to a curated collection of wraps, outfits, and accessories, every detail is taken care of so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Parents and siblings are always welcome to be part of these beautiful memories.
Sessions take place in my bright, welcoming photography studio in Port Credit, Mississauga. Newborn portraits are ideally photographed within the first 7–14 days after birth, and I recommend reserving your session during pregnancy to ensure availability.
More than simply beautiful photographs, I want to create meaningful family heirlooms that celebrate the beginning of your baby’s story.

Do you travel to homes for newborn sessions?+
Yes! I offer both studio and lifestyle newborn photography sessions for families throughout Toronto, Mississauga, and the surrounding GTA.
In-home sessions focus on natural, heartfelt moments with your baby and family in the comfort of your own home. For beautifully styled newborn portraits featuring wraps, outfits, and carefully arranged setups, I recommend my fully equipped Port Credit photography studio.
Do you provide props, accessories, and wardrobe?+
Absolutely! My studio features a thoughtfully curated collection of newborn wraps, outfits, bonnets, and accessories to create beautifully styled, timeless portraits.
I also offer wardrobe options for mothers and personalized styling guidance to help coordinate outfits for the entire family. My goal is to make preparing for your newborn session as effortless as possible.
Do newborn sessions have to take place within the first 2 weeks?+
Newborn photography sessions are ideally scheduled within the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are typically sleepier and more comfortable being gently positioned for those classic newborn portraits.
However, beautiful newborn photographs can absolutely be captured beyond this window. Every baby is different, and I always prioritize your little one’s comfort and safety throughout the session.
Do you offer unedited raw images?+
My studio does not deliver raw files. A raw file is not a finished or usable product — it needs to be edited and converted before it can be printed. Editing is also a core part of our creative process and reflects who we are as artists.
