Consultation and planning
Your shoot includes an over-the-phone consultation so that we can get to know each other and so that I can get an impression of your style. My goal is to create a session that is unique to you. If you have any inspirational images (mine or something you have seen online), please bring it with you. There are so many possibilities, let’s get creative!
How to prepare for your session
Having your baby sleep during our session is essential to allowing me to pose your baby and so that your baby is settled for the photos. There are things you can do at home before arriving to the session to help the session go smoothly. Upon booking you will receive a detailed PDF that will help with this.
What to bring with you
Please bring formula with you, if you are not breastfeeding, or pumped breastmilk if possible. Swaddle blankets are helpful and of course extra diapers. A lot of parents are hesitant to bring pacifiers to their sesssion, but I can assure you that it is very essential to have one at the session for certain poses. Do not worry, your baby will not experience nipple confusion from using a pacifier for a short time.
What to expect at the shoot
A lot of parents are worried that their baby will not co-operate for the photos. And yes that does happen, from time to time, but after photographing literally hundred of babies, I am equipped to know what to do in those situations so do not worry!
