First of all, thank you. I appreciate your interest into my maternity photography services. I am here to guide you though this process to make it as effortless and enjoyable as possibe.
Photography is my passion, and my purpose is to use my passion to make you feel like the absolute best version of yourself. You deserve to celebrate this miraculous time in your life.
Maternity sessions are best photographed when you are between 27-34 weeks pregnant. It is best to book months in advance as our session dates are limited. We do suggest you reach out as soon as possible so you do not miss out!

PLANNING YOUR SESSION
Everyone has a different vision for their photoshoot, my job is to listen and tailor your session to your dreams and what you are comfortable with. Your session comes with a phone consultation which is your opportunity to share with me your hopes for your photoshoot, and where we will discuss details such as backdrops, wardrobe etc. I also suggest that you send me inspirational photos to help visually represent how you would like your photos to turn out.

The Photoshoot!
For many of my clients, this is their first time in front of the camera. Do not worry if you are not experienced at posing, my job is to guide you and make you feel comfortable. All you have to do is follow my directions.
Once you arrive at the studio my makeup and hair artist will take care of your hair and makeup and will stay through the shoot to provide touchups. At this time we will finalize your wardrobe from my extensive maternity wardrobe. Hair and makeup usually takes 1.5 hours, while the shoot itself can take between 1-2 hours depending on your chosen package.

SELECTING YOUR IMAGES
A week after your session you will receive an online viewing gallery to select your beautiful images. This is your opportunity to select your favourite images and order wall art or print products.

RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES
Two weeks after you have made your selections, you will receive your beautiful images via an online gallery where you can download your images directly to your computer. This will be your opportunity to finally display your images in your home as artwork and for years to come!

Where is your studio located?
My studio is conveniently located in Etobicoke, just 5 minutes away from Sherway Gardens. The address is
146 Thirtieth St Etobicoke, ON M8W 3C4 Unit 252. There is ample parking located on premises.
Do you have a maternity wardrobe?
Yes! My studio is equipped with a collection of blazers, bodysuits, tops, pants, and accessories. We also have many fabrics for draping and gorgeous gowns. I will work with you at your consultation to put together custom looks for you based on your specific preferences. Don’t have any ideas? Don’t worry I have lots!
When should I book?
I recommend having your photos taken when you are between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy. I do encourage scheduling based on the earlier rather than later to ensure that your photos are done before there is a chance of early labour. Last-minute bookings are possible based on availability.
Do you offer unedited raw images?
Our studio does not deliver raw files to clients. The reality is that a raw file is not a finished or usable product. It needs to be edited and converted to a usable file format. If you tried to get a print made from a raw file, you’d be told it can’t be done. Any photo labs (professional or otherwise) will want a JPEG file to produce prints from, not a raw file.
Another reason we keep control of our raw files is because the editing of the images (to make the JPEG) is a part of our creative process. It demonstrates who we are as artists every bit as much as the way we make an image with our camera.
Do I have to be nude for my session?
Absolutely not! The photoshoot is styled specific to your needs, there are many ways to get creative while you are fully covered.
I don’t know how to pose.
You are not expected to. I am aware that you are not a professional model, who has had professional training. All that we ask is that you relax, have fun, and follow my directions. Don’t worry 🙂
Can I bring my spouse?
Of course! Your spouse is more than welcome to join 🙂
